SUMMARY:Prompt Writing Group
DESCRIPTION:In this group we’ll set aside time each week to exercise our writing muscles and make sure the ink keeps spilling. \nWe’ll utilise fun prompts to get ideas flowing\, which can be a great way to get unstuck. If you aren’t sure what to write about\, prompts can help you get going. And if you are working on an existing piece prompts can be helpful in finding fresh angles and tension points. Although we may from time to time share our work\, this is not a critique group. Any feedback will only be supportive and meant to encourage you to keep going! \nPrompt writing can be useful for many types of writing\, but is especially effective with narrative fiction\, short stories\, poetry\, and sometimes memoir. \nThe group is for adults and will meet online via video call each Thursday at 7:30 for 90 minutes\, and it will run for six weeks. There is no fee\, but registration is required. \nThis group will be facilitated by Galway writer and poet Tyler Johnson. \nRegister Now
